The Return

A small wheelchair-accessible house with a wooden exterior, pine frame windows, a purple front door, and a sloped roof, and off-grid living surrounded by the forest.

A private, guided experience for bodies becoming

3–4 days on Madeline Island

Come back to your body.

When your body changes—through disability, illness, trauma, or time—it can feel like something essential has been lost.

Familiar sensations disappear.
Identity shifts.
Pleasure becomes distant, confusing, or inaccessible.

The Return is a space to meet yourself again.

Not to fix your body.
Not to force healing.
But to gently rebuild relationship—with sensation, with desire, with who you are now.

What this is

A private, one-on-one (or very small group) experience held over 3–4 days.

This is deep, personalized work.
We move at the pace of your body.

There is no performance here.
No expectation to be anything other than where you are.

What we may explore together

Each experience is different, but may include:

  • Deep listening and witnessing

  • Grief rituals and emotional processing

  • Guided journaling and storytelling

  • Time in nature and elemental connection (earth, air, water, fire)

  • Sensory exploration and nervous system attunement

  • Personalized somatic and movement invitations (adapted to your body)

  • Imagination as pathways to life force awakening

  • Tarot/oracle cards/intuitive reflection

  • Shame debridement and identity reclamation

  • Tools for adaptation, access, and greater independence

  • Discovering new pathways to pleasure and joy

This is a menu, you choose the ingredients.

This is a co-created process.

I meet you where you are.

What makes this different

This work centers bodies that are often left out of conversations around pleasure, healing, and embodiment.

You don’t need to:

  • be “healed”

  • be flexible or mobile in a certain way

  • feel confident in your body

  • have everything figured out

You arrive as you are.

We build from there.

Boundaries & Safety

This work is rooted in consent, autonomy, and deep respect for your body’s wisdom.

Exploration of sensuality, desire, or pleasure may arise through conversation, reflection, and guided practices for your own private experience.

There is no sexual contact between facilitator and guest.

Your body leads. Always.

The Land

This experience takes place on Madeline Island
(known as Mooningwanekaaning-minis, Island of the Yellow Flicker),
within the waters of Lake Superior.

The land is not a backdrop—it is part of the work.

Water, wind, trees, and quiet all become collaborators in your experience.

I am a guest and caretaker on this land, which is the ancestral home of the Anishinaabe people.

Who this is for

This may be for you if:

  • Your body has changed, and you feel disconnected from it

  • You are navigating disability, chronic illness, or physical transformation

  • You feel grief around who you used to be

  • Pleasure feels distant or complicated

  • You are curious about reconnecting with your sensual or erotic (i.e. alive, imaginative, creative, sensuous self)

  • You want support that honors and expands both your current reality and the possibilities for this iteration of you

  • You’re looking for tools and practices to inform and enrich this part of your unique journey
